Start Quantum again and reproduce what you see in the Quantum session below.

Quantum allows destructive modification of expressions.  The most common way to change an expression is by Evaluating (Setq (Elt f ...) ...) with the ...'s suitably filled in.  Modified Expr's should be Evaluated before being passed as arguments to Quantum's mathematical functions.
